Laufen aimed to host a memorable one-day program for architects and design professionals, showcasing its campus and production facilities while fostering thought leadership through expert talks. Together with chef Elif Oskan, we created a unique lunch experience within the factory itself, where she cooked over open fire in reference to the firing process of Laufen’s ceramics. By capping the experience with an apéro at Villa Nomad’s Bronx Bodega Basel during Art Basel, Laufen continued the guest journey before everyone headed to the Vitra Summer Party.

THE OUTCOME
We orchestrated a carefully curated program that highlighted Laufen’s production process and commitment to design excellence. Elif Oskan cooked over open fire inside the factory, echoing the firing process central to Laufen’s craft. With only minimal layout adjustments to a ceramic storage section, we created an intimate lunch experience that brought guests closer to the artistry and innovation Laufen is proud to uphold. The day then transitioned into an evening of networking and celebration at the Vitra Summer Party—offering a dynamic conclusion to a journey dedicated to architectural exploration.
